An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team in Türkiye to support one of our most important markets, working across the Edrington portfolio of brands.
The Business Development Manager role will have full responsibility for the volumes, profitability, deployment of commercial (selling cost) and marketing (A&P) spends in all markets within territory.
The role is responsible for direct management of our distribution partners and managing relationships with key consumers, customers, and trade partners.
Make an Impact
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Interpret global brand strategies and subsequently shape local strategies for the development of accelerated business growth in the territory. Recommending brand priorities, levels of investment, volume and profit goals for Türkiye.
- Deliver the budget and financial forecasting process for the territory by collaborating with trade partners to prepare sales and marketing plans which achieve the Company’s goals.
- Track the commercial progress of the territory against its targets by owning and managing the receipt of all required information from partners and supplementing with available market information and insight where available.
- Ensure value chains are accurate, efficient, and reflective of the route to consumer structure, obtain real time sales volume reports and the related commercial and marketing spends. Use this information to complete internal monthly and annual reports as required. Recommend remedial programmes, if necessary, to achieve target P&L for the territory.
- For the avoidance of doubt the Business Development Manager does not have responsibility for concluding or signing distribution agreements or price lists.
Your Talent and Skills
We are looking for an innovative individual with extensive experience in commercial management and people development within an international company. You will be comfortable working autonomously with very minimal supervision.
