Embrace Excellence
As a key member of the Taiwan Leadership Team, the Head of Marketing plays a critical role in accelerating brand growth and deepening market presence through the development of culturally resonant strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of the Taiwan market. This role is responsible for leading the creation and execution of integrated marketing plans that are grounded in consumer insights and aligned with global and regional brand direction, while ensuring strong local relevance that connects meaningfully with diverse consumer segments.
The Head of Marketing will proactively identify growth opportunities and shape long-term brand-building initiatives that enhance brand equity and drive desirability across all touchpoints. Central to this role is fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Trade Marketing, and the Private Client channel. By strategically aligning resources and cultivating a high-performing, collaborative culture, the Head of Marketing will maximize synergy across functions to deliver impactful brand experiences and sustainable business results.
This position reports directly to the Managing Director, Taiwan, and maintains a matrix reporting line to the Regional Marketing Director, APAC.
Make an Impact
BRAND STRATEGY & LOCAL RELEVANCE
• Lead the development and execution of brand strategies aligned with global and regional direction while ensuring strong local relevance across Taiwan’s diverse consumer segments.
• Translate global brand positioning into culturally meaningful narratives and experiences across all touchpoints with local consumers.
• Champion compelling campaigns, activations, and storytelling that reflect the aspirations of Taiwan’s evolving consumer landscape.
• Build and maintain a consistent ultra-premium brand image across all channels, including digital, experiential, retail, and on-premise environments.
• Drive exceptional brand building for The Macallan while continuing to deliver breakthroughs for The Glenrothes, Highland Park, and No.3 Gin.
• Develop strategies that build long-term brand equity while balancing short- to mid-term commercial impact, including in-store performance, revenue creation, and recruitment.
GROWTH PLANNING & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
• Lead the brand growth planning cycle to ensure clear strategy delivery and execution excellence.
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through data-driven insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
• Develop launch plans, campaign calendars, and investment strategies that deliver measurable impact.
• Monitor performance and engagement metrics, providing analysis and recommendations to optimize effectiveness and ROI.
• Ensure effective A&P utilization, spending phasing, and accurate forecasting to maximize impact.
RESEARCH & INSIGHT
• Champion the use of consumer insights and market intelligence to inform strategy, campaigns, and innovation.
• Embed brand health tracking and research into the planning cycle to guide decision-making.
• Partner with regional and global teams on local research to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Translate insights into actionable strategies to strengthen relevance, engagement, and growth.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION & SYNERGY
• Foster strong collaboration with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Private Client teams to ensure integrated planning and execution across all commercial and consumer-facing initiatives.
• Align marketing strategies with commercial priorities to drive channel effectiveness and growth.
• Lead cross-functional planning to ensure alignment, accountability, and seamless execution.
• Act as a strategic partner, contributing marketing expertise to business planning.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & TALENT DEVELOPMENT
• Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Your Talent and Skills
• Minimum 15 years experience in brand or marketing roles, including 8+ years in a managerial capacity, ideally with international premium or luxury brands.
• Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies that drive sustainable growth and build long-term brand equity.
• Deep understanding of Taiwan’s consumer landscape, with a strong capability to translate global brand positioning into locally relevant and culturally resonant campaigns.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Trade Marketing, and Private Client channels to deliver integrated and impactful brand experiences.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
• A values-driven leader with a high level of personal and professional integrity, consistently acting with transparency, fairness, and accountability.
• Proven experience in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Agile, innovative, and results-oriented, with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
• Fluent in Chinese and Excellent command of English (Listening/Speaking/Reading/Writing).
