Position Summary

Edrington Taiwan is hiring now for 2 month IT contractor!

As we are increasing our focus on cyber security across the organisation, an exciting opportunity has arisen within Edrington Taiwan for a Business Analyst. This is a key role responsible for analysing all the local applications currently on older Microsoft servers and helping identify future options.

The Business Analyst will be fundamental to the success of the project and will play a hands-on role supporting the Project Manager in the analysis of the existing applications, creation of a re-platforming plan and supporting the successful implementation plan.

This is a perfect role for someone who has been in a similar Business Analyst role within a finance/sales environment and can demonstrate experience working with stakeholders, capturing requirements, delivering insightful analysis and support the successful delivery of all required changes. 

Job Description

The Business Analyst will work in partnership with the finance team, key business stakeholders and Edrington IT team ensuring ongoing alignment with the project goals. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders to clarify scope, elicit and manage requirements, document the outputs and help support the iterative delivery of functionality.
•    Engage with stakeholders to effectively elicit, document, and analyse business requirements.
•    Translate business requirements into technical requirements by working closely with subject matter experts
•    Collaborate with business functions to define and document user journeys, processes, and business rules
•    Modelling As-Is and To-Be business processes and identifying opportunities, risks, and impacts
•    Help to create User Acceptance Test (UAT) Scripts and support the testing process
•    Support training and communication of system changes

Skills and Experience

•    Degree level or equivalent 
•    Strong business analysis skills and ability to choose appropriate tools and techniques 
•    Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies with ability to break down business needs into compelling user stories and with robust acceptance criteria
•    Ability to model business processes and user journeys 
•    Understanding of the full requirements lifecycle 
•    Ability to write highly detailed Functional Requirement Specifications
•    Strong knowledge of Project management principles and practices
•    Communicate effectively, sharing relevant project updates, plans and metrics with stakeholders
•    Ability to communicate, verbally and written, in both Chinese and English
•    Influential, with the ability to build a strong network and drive collaboration with many stakeholders.
