Embrace Excellence
The Brand Specialist is responsible for delivering trade education and executing channel facing brand activities across on trade and off trade environments.
The role ensures brand knowledge, storytelling, and luxury cues are consistently communicated through training programs, tasting sessions, and trade engagement, while also contributing to the development of brand education and presentation materials. Flexibility is required to support brand and corporate initiatives when priorities overlap, ensuring seamless execution and consistent brand representation.
Make an Impact
Brand Image and Brand Knowledge training (On & Off Trade)
- Deliver structured trade education programs aligned with channel needs, ensuring consistent brand messaging, storytelling, and visual identity.
- Tailor educational content, delivery approach, and tasting structure to suit different audience profiles and trade environments.
- Support the development and localization of brand education materials, including training modules, presentation decks, and tasting scripts.
Strategic Brand Event and Partnership & Private event Presentation
- Represent the brand at strategic brand‑led, partnership, and co‑branding events, delivering premium presentations and curated tasting experiences aligned with brand positioning and luxury standards.
- Work closely with Brand and PCRM teams to host private client, elite, and VIP tastings, providing immersive brand and liquid storytelling tailored to high‑end audiences.
- Act as a brand advocate, ensuring consistent brand narrative, presentation excellence, and experiential quality across all brand and partnership engagements.
Trade Relationship Building & Channel Engagement
- Build and maintain effective, long‑term relationships with key on‑trade and off‑trade partners to strengthen brand presence and advocacy.
- Consistently reinforce luxury brand standards across all trade touchpoints, including service staff engagement and in‑store communication.
- Support brand image by reinforcing liquid credibility and brand stories through ongoing trade engagement, rather than formal training.
- Deliver advanced brand content in luxury and premium environments to elevate last‑mile brand experience and execution.
Visit Planning, Reporting & Administration
- Maintain regular face‑to‑face engagement with channel and store managers to strengthen brand advocacy, while capturing market trends and competitor activities and sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
- Plan, execute, and document weekly and monthly trade visits and training activities in line with Edrington requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly visit and training reports to Brand and Marketing Managers.
- Act in accordance with Edrington’s Code of Conduct and uphold the company’s reputation at all times.
Internal Brand and Product Training
- Deliver brand and product training to:
- Edrington Taiwan Employees and sales Team
- On-trade and off-trade wholesalers (upon request from sales )
- Edrington partner agencies (upon request)
Others: Market Insight & Brand Content Contribution
- Support brand teams by identifying opportunities for localized presentation content, press materials, and market or competitor insights.
- Contribute product knowledge, whisky expertise, and brand history input to strengthen and refine local brand storytelling.
Your Talent and Skills
- Fluent communication skills in Mandarin and English; proficiency in Taiwanese is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to tailor communication style to different audiences.
- Skilled in storytelling, capable of conveying brand values and product knowledge in an engaging narrative form.
- Able to engage deeply with a wide range of audiences, including consumers, trade partners, and internal teams.
- Possesses foundational to intermediate-level knowledge of spirits; whisky knowledge preferred.
- Demonstrates strong stage presence with confidence in hosting events and media-facing scenarios.
- Experience in conducting training sessions is a strong advantage.
- Basic understanding of hospitality, premium retail, bar culture, or luxury industries is preferred.
