Position Summary

• Assist brand teams to delivery Brand story, message and product knowledge in a storytelling way toward different target segments – on/off retail owners, store managers, in-store sales, and consumers.
• Work with brand ambassador to develop the training material and program for channel education and The Macallan Academy.
• Play as a lecturer role in different tasting events including in-store training, consumer facing events, etc.
• Able to do market sensing through the market visit, shopper, and field sales feedback with a focus on super deluxe whisky category (NTD 2,000 and above).
• Build effective and long-term relationships with luxury off-trade and on-trade accounts.
• Fast learner, passionate to spirits, knowledge to luxury market, and great storyteller to interpret the brand and product knowledge to perfect The Macallan education strategy with excellent execution.

Job Description

Brand Image and Brand Knowledge training / On & Off Trade
- Deliver brand image, message, and knowledge.
- To recruit The Macallan Society members through every Brand event and opportunity.
- Towards luxury off-trade and on-trade.

Strategic Event and Co-Branding Event Presentation / VIP and Elites Gathering Presentation
- Strategic event’s ambassadorial presence, presentation lecturer and tasting.
- Co-branding event’s ambassadorial presence, presentation lecturer and tasting.
- Elite group’s ambassadorial presence, presentation lecturer and tasting.

Brand’s Relationship built up with luxury off-trade and on-trade accounts
- High-end liquid store outlets and department store outlets.
- Fine-dining and luxury restaurants and bars.
- 5-star international hotel’s MOT outlets.

Weekly & Monthly Visit /Training Record Preparation
- To progress weekly and monthly visit / training record, according to Edrington’s requirement.
- To update the monthly visit / training record to Brand/ Marketing Managers by monthly basis.

Assist in Edrington brand’s special assignments
-To assist in special assignment from assigned by Brand/ Marketing Managers.

Internal Edrington Brand and Product Training
-Towards Edrington TW’s sales team.
-Towards Edrington TW’s on/off trade wholesales.( upon the request from area sales managers).
-Towards Edrington TW’s Edrington promotion team.

Skills and Experience

• Fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese and English communication and expression abilities.
• High quality of sustaining conversation power, able to implement quality conversation with different fields of VIPs and professions in any brand events.
• Brand-matched behaviour, integrity, and style-matched speech.
• Well beverage (including spirits & wine), food knowledge and social ability.
• Professional training experience and interpersonal skills.
• Savvy in social media usage and presence is a plus. ( IG. Meta.YT, Tiktok etc)
• Experience in hosting big events and ceremony is a plus.
