The Assistant Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving commercial performance and executing sales strategies across the assigned area. This role supports the Area Sales Manager in integrating cross-functional resources, optimizing sales execution, and guiding team members to elevate performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong market acumen, data literacy, and customer management capabilities. Acting as a area ambassador, the Assistant Sales Manager must also influence both internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure aligned execution and business growth.

Make an Impact

  1. Sales Execution & Commercial Planning: Optimize sales workflows and territory action plans; coach team members to enhance their operational effectiveness and execution quality.
  2. Market Insight & Trend Analysis: Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer trends to generate actionable insights. Build team capability in market observation and encourage data-driven business recommendations at the frontline level.
  3. Customer & Channel Management: Develop multi-layered partnerships with distributors and key accounts to unlock future growth opportunities. Provide strategic guidance on managing customer portfolios, negotiation, and long-term business development planning.
  4. Data-Driven Business Management: Consolidate and analyze regional sales and market data to forecast trends and inform strategic decisions. Coach team members on data utilization to enhance their awareness of performance targets and improve business outcomes.
  5. Influencing & Stakeholder Management: Represent the Northern area in internal cross-functional discussions and external customer engagements with professionalism and credibility. Champion projects, secure internal alignment, and build team capacity in communication, presentation, and influence.

Your Talent and Skills

  1. Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong negotiation abilities with a focus on closing deals.
  4. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
  5. Self-motivated and results driven.
  6. Hands on experience in wholesaler management.
  7. At least 8 years sales function working experience in related industry
