Position Summary

 

There is now an exciting opportunity to join Edrington Nordics on a temporary 12-month basis as Nordic Customer Marketing Manager (parental leave cover) starting in September 2022. You will be working with some of the finest and most admired spirit brands in the world, including The Macallan, Highland Park, The Glenrothes, Brugal 1888, and The Famous Grouse. This position reports directly to the Marketing Director, Nordics. The Nordic Customer Marketing Manager is expected to drive the ownership and implementation of the Super and Ultra-premium+ brand activation strategy for key customer channels in the region. This includes ownership of local brand investment budgets, development and implementation of activations, driving executional excellence, and evaluation of the performance.

Job Description

 

  • Ownership for the driving the “Lead with Prestige” focus to build the Super and Ultra-premium+ brand activation strategy for all the Edrington brands in the region.
  • Responsible for driving the channel brand activation strategy in the region including the focus on Key Cities, prestige activation concepts, executional excellence, agency management, KPI setting and tracking of performance.
  • Driving the internal alignment and creation of detailed plans together with local brand and commercial team for implementation in both on- and off-trade channels.
  • Management of the local brand investment budget, including investment plans, evaluation of performance and driving increased efficiency.
  • Representing the region in global/regional project groups and driving key projects
  • Manager responsible for 4 direct reports including objective setting, KPI: s, day to day management, personal development plans and the yearly evaluation process.

Skills and Experience

 

  • Master/ university degree in marketing or sales
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant role (Trade marketing, Customer marketing, Commercial or Brand marketing)
  • Minimum 3 years experience of people management with a 2-4 people team (experience of managing functions located in different locations/countries is positive)
  • Experience in working with driving premiumisation and executional excellence in On- and Off-trade
  • Strong in process management and excellent multitasking skills
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and review value-adding activities
  • Excellent in working with different functions, strong influencing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Understanding company PnL, managing budgets, and cost reporting
  • Strong ability to create and drive the team agenda, setting KPI: s and follow up on performance
  • Good systems skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, BW
  • English fluently in both written and spoken
  • Experience from working with the On-trade and Off-trade channels (E-commerce is positive)
  • Interest or knowledge about the drink industry is positive
