Embrace Excellence

Reporting to the Nordic Commercial Director, the Country Manager Sweden & Norway will have full P&L responsibility for Norway and Sweden (including Ferries and selected customers in Island), developing overall company performance with an engaging and collaborative approach.

The role will lead a team of 9 team members (4 direct reports) ensuring delivery of strategies and set objectives, implementing plans according to local processes, and development of capabilities across the team.

A vital part of the role will be to drive growth of our Ultra-Prestige portfolio by developing our Private Client sales and presence in Luxury hotels- & resorts, as well as accelerate our sales of core range through the Monopolies and key customers in Ontrade/Horeca.

Make an Impact

Reporting to the Commercial Director key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the implementation of brand strategies across channels (Private Client, Monopolies, On-trade/Horeca)
  • Accountable for delivery of channel plans, budget and forecasting, all aligned with internal processes and timelines.
  • Lead the delivery of Private Client strategy and growth plans for Ultra-Prestige portfolio across the two markets
  • Work closely with Sales Managers, Trade Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver channel plans, optimize pricing, brand investments, and compliance.
  • Strengthen brand presence through trade associations and distributor engagement; drive achievement of market KPIs.
  • Monitor commercial progress using partner data and market insights; maintain strong understanding of distribution and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient value chains; deliver internal reports on performance and spending.
  • Build customer- & consumer insights through direct contact with key customers and influencers.
  • Travel within Sweden and Norway (minimum 4 trips to Norway annually) to gather commercial and competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Nordic support teams to enhance market performance, reporting, and share of voice.

Your Talent and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience, ideally in a business or management related subject
  • Strong understanding of P&L, distribution channels, and competitive markets.
  • Extensive experience in commercial / P&L management and sales of Luxury goods, preferably within an international company.
  • Team leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Given the global nature of our business fluent in English (spoken and written) is required.
