Embrace Excellence

The Brand Specialist is the inspiring and passionate face of The Macallan brand in front of key trade accounts, responsible for influencing decision makers as well as the education and engagement of staff. They will help to drive an increase in The Macallan’s ‘salience’, as measured by established tracking tools.

Make an Impact

  • Act as the in‑market brand authority for The Macallan, representing the brand and whisky category with confidence and consistency
  • Recruit, engage, and build relationships with private clients and key on‑trade decision makers
  • Drive brand awareness and advocacy through account management, activations, and priority trade events
  • Deliver impactful trainings, tastings, and presentations to trade partners and staff, including elevated serve rituals
  • Support commercial objectives in collaboration with the local sales team, including listings, menu placements, and trade programs
  • Manage key on‑trade accounts, monitor performance, and identify growth opportunities
  • Promote and embed The Macallan Academy and brand education platforms across key partners

Your Talent and Skills

  • Degree‑level education or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in the luxury spirits market
  • Creative, commercially minded professional with strong ownership, independence, and high standards of execution
  • Confident, influential communicator with proven leadership, training, and presentation skills, able to adapt to different audiences and inspire upselling
  • Relationship‑driven and customer‑focused, with strong organisational skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Age that adheres to Edrington’s Marketing Code of Conduct for responsible alcohol marketing
  • Fluent in English and one Nordic language (Swedish preferred); brand activation or strong whisky interest is an advantage
