Embrace Excellence
Edrington Sweden is responsible for marketing and distribution of Edrington- and third-party brands such as Suntory, Bols including Bowmore, Laphroaig, Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Hibiki, Galliano, Sourz and more across Sweden, Norway and Iceland. It includes three sales channels, the monopolies (off trade), on-premise and Nordic Ferries. The Swedish on-premise team has more than 1000 customers, primarily visited by our sales team.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for managing accounts and building partnerships with premium bars, hotels, and restaurants in their respective region and balance the portfolio between our Prestige and Core. The Swedish on-premise team business has a clear focus on luxury outlets and execution. The account management includes responsibility to drive the customer profitability and to do so while delivering individual brand strategies. Each account manager has a dedicated regional and/or customer segment to focus on and will within this geographical area focus on regional key cities and luxury destinations.
The Account manager role for this position will be responsible of the greater Stockholm area as well as key accounts in northern Sweden, including hotels and key accounts in ski resorts.
Make an Impact
- Act as the main point of contact for your customers, building strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Drive sales by presenting Edrington’s portfolio and delivering campaigns as well as activation programs.
- Achieve KPIs on distribution, menu listings, and in-outlet execution excellence.
- Focus on top accounts and monitoring new accounts in line with our HNWI and premium strategy, spending most time in the field planning and executing activities.
- Identify and develop brand-building opportunities in collaboration with marketing and brand teams.
- Monitor performance and maintain accurate reporting, including Salesforce updates and sales activity follow-up.
- Manage costs and ensure profitability while representing Edrington locally, including events and customer engagement.
Your Talent and Skills
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within beverage or hospitality
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused approach
- Analytical mindset with ability to use data (e.g. Salesforce, Power BI) to drive performance
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience is an advantage
- Self-driven and collaborative, with the ability to work independently and in teams
- Driver’s license
- Commercial mindset with a passion for premium brands and the drinks or luxury industry
