Embrace Excellence
As a key member of the GTR Marketing team, the Marketing Executive will partner closely with the GTR Marketing Managers based in Singapore and Scotland. Working at the heart of a truly global network— the role will collaborate with the Global Brand and Creative teams, as well as GTR Customer Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives.
You will play an essential role in shaping annual growth plans, supporting the development of marketing strategies, and driving innovation launches across Global Travel Retail. This includes creating compelling customer engagement materials and managing brand assets to ensure investments are effective, aligned, and delivered within budget.
Beyond core brand support, you will contribute to elevating The Macallan Boutique & SIS experience, advancing GTR’s digital transformation across marketing and e-commerce, and supporting Brand Education initiatives that strengthen our presence and connection with consumers worldwide.
Make an Impact
Reporting to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, key responsibilities include;
- Global Assets & Launch Support
- Collaborate with Global Brand and Creative teams to secure up‑to‑date brand information and NPD assets, ensuring timely launches across the GTR portfolio.
- Partner with Customer Marketing, Digital, Education and Retail teams to deliver seamless NPD execution and elevate retail experience.
- Brand Marketing Support
- Support Brand Marketing Managers with the NPD Marketing Calendar, toolkit development, customer engagement decks including TFWA Cannes presenter
- Maintain the Assortment Matrix and GTR scorecard tracker and reporting
- Contribute to annual growth planning and Townhall materials
- PR & Communications
- Manage trade media PR activity, including reviewing PR materials and ensuring agencies receive required assets.
- Brand A&P & PO Management
- Update the GTR Central Brand A&P tracker for accurate budget visibility and monitoring.
- Create POs, reconcile invoices, and coordinate project completion steps with Finance.
Your Talent and Skills
- Have a degree in Business or Marketing related areas.
- Have good experience in Brand Management/ Innovation Marketing, with marketing responsibilities for International Brands. Previous liquor/ spirits experience and understanding of Travel Retail is an advantage.
- Have some knowledge and experience in brand building, product launches, and new product development.
- Possess excellent project management, time management skills and collaborative style, able to build relationships and garner support across functional teams; ability to handle multiple/ diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment. Well-organized, meticulous, detail oriented
- Have a pro-active working attitude and ability to adapt to change.
- Have an excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
- Have good presentation, communication and negotiation skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications e.g. Office, Power-point, Excel, etc
- Are a self-motivated, good team player and independent with strong dedication to results. Ability to build relationships and garner support across functional teams.
