Embrace Excellence

This role is responsible for providing indirect procurement category management support to the Edrington APAC business, including responsibility for strategy and implementation for APAC POSM HUB, Marketing Service category for SEACPAC and TW, including, ATL/BTL categories that will effectively meet the needs of business and deliver the maximum value for the business in APAC markets. This includes business engagement, procurement category strategy & enablement activities, from sourcing, bidding, quotation management, contract management to supplier management and category management. This role will be a key business partner to our marketing, commercial functions and a key contributor to the governance and compliance agenda in the business.

Make an Impact

  • Building strong connections with key business partners. Managing the needs and expectations of the business to drive satisfaction while ensuring compliance to procurement standards and alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Engages and collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand local business context and to build the pipeline of projects that have significant saving potential.
  • Acting as the lead for APAC POSM Hub development, exploring a centralized model for cost, speed & brand consistency to streamline POSM execution across APAC.
  • Developing the strategy and implementation plan for agencies category (Marketing ATL/BTL) of spend in APAC market that will effectively meet the needs of the business and deliver the maximum value, ensuring category management is aligned with global & regional & local strategies and business needs.
  • Manage negotiations with suppliers to ensure the best value and terms are achieved for the business whilst maintaining good, professional working relationships with our partners.
  • Partner and support business leaders to develop strategic and operational sourcing strategies, ensuring collaborative and innovation driven relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Support supplier evaluations and vendor pool assessments to ensure our suppliers can be held accountable for delivery and our vendor pool remains competitive, of high quality and compliant.
  • Stay abreast of regional & local trends to assist the stakeholders in their existing needs and provide innovative ideas for efficient marketing spends.
  • Develop procurement project plans to define objectives, resources, timeline, specification, supplier selection criteria in Marketing areas.
  • Executes end to end procurement involvement of marketing spending of appropriate size and scope.
  • Managing the interactions with the organizations that supply the services to the company including relationship building, data review and analysis, performance management, development, improvement, and innovation.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the relevant industrial and global/regional procurement best practices.

Your Talent and Skills

  • Financial acumen is key, with budget setting and adherence paramount.
  • Prior experience at POSM & Visibility-IMO, ATL or BTL, Procurement project management is essential to this role.
  • Demonstrated capability of key stakeholder engagement, relationship building and process management especially in the marketing service is essential. 
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate locally with the team in APAC and China and good command in both verbal & written English & Chinese.
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation, presentation, organizational skills.
  • Hands-on computer knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Power point.
  • Previous experience of SAP/ Power BI would be advantageous.
