Embrace Excellence
This position reports to the Finance Manager, ESPL, and is responsible for the effective delivery of finance operations and compliance for ESPL. The role supports the execution and continuous improvement of operational finance processes and controls across PTP, OTC, RTR, Master Data governance, KY3P requirements, ensuring adherence to company policies and control standards. The position is also directly responsible for treasury activities and ensuring compliance with the Group Cash Strategy and also contributes to APAC cashflow consolidation review.
Make an Impact
- Lead a finance operations team of 4, overseeing ESPL day-to-day activities across Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, staff claims and operational compliance.
- Ensure strong governance and control discipline across finance operations, maintaining effective controls over PTP, OTC, T&E and Treasury processes, with consistent adherence to company policies.
- Take accountability for APAC working capital within the budget and forecast process, ensuring completeness, accuracy and timely review to support cash visibility and forecasting discipline.
- Be directly responsible for treasury operations, including cash and bank activities, and ensure compliance with the Group Cash Strategy, with support from the Finance Operations Specialist (Treasury & Master Data)
- Oversee Master Data governance for ESPL (including customer/vendor setup and system administration), ensuring appropriate segregation of duties, process compliance and timely delivery to support business operations.
- Ensure KY3P requirements for new and existing suppliers/customers are completed in a timely manner, with appropriate documentation and control evidence maintained.
- Lead the preparation and review of quarterly GST filings, ensuring accuracy, proper tax treatment, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement across finance operations, including process standardisation, control enhancements and productivity improvements.
- Partner with the APAC Risk, Controls & Compliance team to support remediation and control improvement initiatives (e.g. ERICA actions).
- Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring and regular performance feedback to strengthen delivery and build resilience.
- Manage individual and team performance through clear expectations, regular check-ins, and timely feedback, addressing issues where needed.
- Deliver aligned outcomes by maintaining clear communication on priorities and supporting consistent execution of team responsibilities
Your Talent and Skills
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy
- Experience in finance operations, preferably with MNC
- FMCG experience will be an added advantage
- Strong accounting knowledge and able to work independently
- Good interpersonal skill, team player, meticulous and fast learner
