Embrace Excellence
Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager (SEAPAC), the role is a member of the SEAPAC Finance Team who is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting function in support of a sub-region comprising eight omni channel markets.
This position supports data integrity and timely access to financial information for the SEAPAC region. It requires a disciplined, independent and detail-oriented individual who can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Make an Impact
- Support the AFM by ensuring all financial closing and reporting activities for the SEAPAC region are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage compliance and statutory reporting for EMSB and the Vietnam Rep Office, including corporate secretarial activities, expense validation, tax filings, audit coordination, and regulatory submissions.
- Perform GL accounting activities during month-end and year-end close, including drafting and posting journal entries, validating intercompany billings, monitoring prepayments for timely amortisation and reviewing actual postings to clear accruals.
- Support annual and ad hoc price maintenance in SAP for SEAPAC markets, including updating the master price list and validating SAP uploads against issued price lists and the latest stock report.
- Prepare A&P Zero-Based Budgeting input templates for all eight SEAPAC markets, including updating backend mappings for general ledger (GL) accounts and internal orders (IOs), and populating actuals during forecasts (LE)
- Liaise with SEAPAC marketers to ensure the timely submission of A&P budgets and LE across all markets
- Provide support on validation of EMSB Concur claims which include guiding the Malaysia Rep Office employees on correct expense coding, ensuring timely download and submission of the approved claims.
- Review the monthly EMSB Management Report and oversee the external service provider to ensure that the Overheads actuals and accruals are complete and accurate, including following up on discrepancies and confirming timely posting for month-end and year-end close.
- Support EMSB tax and compliance activities, including SST filings, fulfilling e‑invoicing requirements and liaising with tax advisers.
- Assist in corporate secretarial matters for EMSB, including preparation of materials for board or director resolutions and intercompany agreements.
- Provide support for the Vietnam Rep Office’s compliance reporting requirements and corporate secretarial activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Your Talent and Skills
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in the accounting field
- Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Technical Competence and/or knowledge of accounting rules
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical mind-set and high attention-to-detail
- Enjoys working cross functionally, but with the capability and confidence to be self-sufficient
- Highly motivated, dynamic, and proactive approach
- Strong IT skills in particular MS Excel and SAP
