Embrace Excellence
• Project: APAC Governance Elevation - Assist in implementation of Singapore corporate governance project, for both Central APAC and SEA-PAC, which is a key priority, work cross functionally, partner with Finance team on this project, but also engaging with all business units who need to complete their contract framework with major vendors for F2526.
Make an Impact
• Work directly under Chief Legal Officer APAC, gets an in-depth experience of being a trusted legal adviser as in-house counsel
• Support the implementation of the project, to be the front gate of legal function engaging with business teams, supporting team with day to day understanding of contract requirements, answer simple contract related questions (under supervision of CLO and senior external legal counsel), getting contract logs in place, helping business to monitor contract life cycle, proper filing/managing the depository of contracts ; following through the process to gain both business operation insights and legal expertise training, plus communication skills.
• Support in daily operational tasks (e.g. research, contract review);
• Performing ad hoc tasks as requested by the supervising lawyer(s), be trained with a sense of priority and importance to business and legal in the real world
• Enhance risk management skills
• Enhance knowledge on most up-to-date legal tech, including AI took specifically for lawyers, in-house needs, adaptions etc.
Your Talent and Skills
• A Law undergraduate with strong academic track record
• Excellent IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
• Effective team player with strong organisational, time management and communication skills
• Adaptability and willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and motivation
• Attention to details
• Internship experience in legal work
