Position Summary

The Macallan Boutique at Raffles Hotel requires an experienced luxury Boutique Manager who is focused, passionate and driven to provide impeccable customer service. This individual will be experienced in inspiring and motivating a strong team to deliver a best in class luxury retail experience for our guests from around the world.

Job Description

Boutique Sales Management

  • Accountable for the boutique sales planning and achievement plan.
  • Supports Head of Marketing with the preparation and execution of the boutique budget delivering on (or better) than target revenue and profit streams.
  • Ensure boutique targets / KPI’s are achieved and done so through positive selling and within best practice guidelines.
  • Effectively manages boutique controllable costs.
  • Provide business/sales updates regularly and participate in regular sales meeting with Head Office

 

Clienteling/Retail CRM

  • Recruits new prospect clients, ensures accurate data capture using the CRM system (Hubspot) and maintains client database to optimise client loyalty (lifetime value).
  • Develops a network of Affinity (prestige/exclusive) clients and strengthen customer loyalty within a community and develop a clientele with a high potential and profile for sales.
  • Actively participates in events creation and organisation in order to develop sales for all product categories.

 

Inventory Management

  • Orders stock replenishment in accordance to allocation quantities and cycle, to obtain right stocks at the right time and place.
  • Ensure stock control and rotation follow best practice and within Company's guidelines.
  • Ensure stock shrinkage is effectively recorded with the aim of losses being ‘0’ and that overall costs are controlled and minimised.

 

Boutique Operations Management

  • Ensures effective resource management with optimal staffing and rostering to support business needs.
  • Contributes to revitalising the point of sale and development of The Macallan Boutique signature services and non-whisky offering.
  • Positions and presents product collections in accordance to the in-store Activity Calendar and merchandising guidelines.

 

Leadership and People Management

  • Be a visible leader that leads by example and inspires world class delivery in line with our guideline of service, procedures and policies.
  • Active participation in the cyclical HR processes to ensure best in-class employee experience and engagement in the team.

Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

  • Highly experienced in luxury retail merchandising and sales process.
  • Outstanding customer service knowledge and delivery
  • Solid budgetary skills in a commercial retail environment
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong commercial sales skills in a luxury retail environment with the appropriate use of sales tools / techniques and promotions to drive excellent results
  • Strong eye for detail with best practice knowledge of stock control and retail sales management (retail KPIs, conversion rate)
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills
  • Precision and accuracy when handling customer details and transactions
