Position Summary

This position reports into the FP&A Manager, China and will be supporting the line manager for ensuring the “right numbers, on time, with no surprises” for local, regional, and global reporting and planning. Provide financial planning and analysis for the China market and ensure quality business partnering with commercial, marketing and finance teams.

Key Result Areas

• Top-line of business planning and management reporting preparation
• Review and controlling of Sales team performance vs. sales investment/supporting efficiency
• Contributor to the annual 3-year planning cycle
• Ad hoc support across functional teams such as logistics, MKT, etc.

Job Description

Accounting, Reporting and Planning

• Processing sales related month end journals for management reporting.
• Work closely with the financial accounting team to ensure consistency in mapping / reporting.
• Gain clarity from key responsible persons on major variances from budget / forecast.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial performance, ensure all reporting (net sales, sales support, brand profitability, etc.) are accurate, on time, in line with policies and strategies.
• Support other monthly/quarterly reporting dashboards.
• Support line manager for preparing corporate budget and forecast, covering all channels including traditional trade, e-commerce, and DTC.

Business Partnering / Commercial Finance Support

• Support of sales team, provide timely reporting and analysis as required.
• Price simulations and price management.

Skills and Experience

The preferred qualifications for this role are as follows:

• University degree in Finance / Accounting
• At least 4 years of relevant business, finance, commercial corporate planning experiences
• Experience in Wines & Spirits, FMCG, or Retail sector would be preferred
• Strong analytical and business modelling skills
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Solid technical competence and knowledge of accounting rules
• Experience using several systems (SAP experience essential, BW / BI / SalesForce desirable)
• Good English communication skills in both oral and writing
