Embrace Excellence

This position reports into the FP&A Manager, China and will be supporting the line manager for ensuring the “right numbers, on time, with no surprises” for local, regional, and global reporting and planning. Provide financial planning and analysis for the China market and ensure quality business partnering with commercial, marketing and finance teams.

 

Key Result Areas

 

  • Bottom-line of business planning and management reporting preparation.
  • Review and controlling of Brand Investment & Overhead spending.
  • Contributor to the forecast and annual 3-year planning cycle.
  • Prepare AOP/LEs Balance Sheet / Cash Flow forecasts.
  • Work with accounting team for monthly closing.
  • Ad hoc support across functional teams such as Logistics, marketing, and etc.

Make an Impact

Accounting, Reporting and Planning

  • Processing marketing & back office related month end journals for management reporting.
  • Work closely with the financial accounting team to ensure consistency in mapping / reporting.
  • Gain clarity from key responsible persons on major variances from budget / forecast.
  • Prepare the Balance Sheet / Cash Flow and do the analysis in forecast and budget period.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly financial performance, ensure all reporting (Brand Investment, Overhead, Free goods, etc.) are accurate, on time, in line with policies and strategies.
  • Support other monthly/quarterly reporting dashboards.
  • Support line manager for preparing corporate budget and forecast, covering all channels including traditional trade, e-commerce, DTT, and DTC.
  • Others line manager required AD HOC.

Business Partnering / Commercial Finance Support

  • Support of market team, HR, etc. provide timely reporting and analysis as required.

Your Talent and Skills

The preferred qualifications for this role are as follows:

  • University degree in Finance / Accounting.
  • Years of relevant business, finance, commercial corporate planning experiences.
  • Strong analytical and business modelling skills.
  • Solid technical competence and knowledge of accounting rules, experience in general ledger.
  • Balance sheet & cash flow analysis experience is preferred.
  • Experience using several systems (Excel, SAP experience essential, BW / BI / Salesforce desirable).
  • Good English communication skills in both oral and writing.
