Embrace Excellence

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Customer Marketing Manager, GTR (North Asia) to drive brand growth and deliver impactful marketing initiatives across Global Travel Retail and China. Working closely with regional marketing, commercial teams and key external partners, you will develop and execute brand strategies, launch plans, trade marketing programmes and customer activations that deliver sustainable sales growth and profitability.

This role plays a key part in supporting high-profile projects including The Macallan Boutique & Shop-in-Shop (SIS) programme, permanent visibility initiatives, digital marketing, e-commerce strategy and GTR digital transformation projects. Success in the role will require strong cross-functional collaboration with commercial, marketing, finance and supply chain teams, as well as the ability to build effective partnerships with retailers and agency partners while managing budgets and delivering measurable results.

Make an Impact

  • Lead customer marketing activity across key Global Travel Retail accounts, including CDFG and Hainan.
  • Develop and deliver innovative trade marketing programmes and brand activations that drive sales growth, brand awareness and profitability.
  • Execute impactful product launches, promotions, retail experiences and premium consumer events.
  • Manage marketing investment budgets, ensuring effective allocation and strong return on investment.
  • Drive best-in-class retail execution through visual merchandising, permanent visibility and point-of-sale materials.
  • Support digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives to enhance consumer engagement and brand performance.
  • Analyse market trends, shopper insights and performance data to identify growth opportunities and inform future strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers, agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Monitor campaign performance, share key insights and recommend actions to continuously improve results.

 

Your Talent and Skills

  • Proven marketing experience within luxury goods, premium brands and/or FMCG; Travel Retail/Duty Free experience is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of China's digital and social media landscape, with experience using digital marketing tools.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
