Position Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role has responsibility for the execution of the on time launch of NPD initiatives in market, driving continued improvement of product quality and collaborating with procurement to manage the materials inventory to deliver the ambitious ecommerce plans, ensuring stock management meet the key targets or service, quality and cost.

 

The role will be integral in supporting the supply chain continuous improvement agenda, identifying and enabling process improvements across NPD, Quality and in market materials management to ensure key operational targets are delivered.

Job Description

  1. Own NPD planning and delivery
  1. Lead and coordinate new SKU schedule, include SKU creation, extension, label design coordination, price setting, allocation phasing, launch planning, package requirement connecting the global teams in UK with the market commercial teams.
  2. Collaborate with relevant teams across the business to gather and formalise the key information to prepare package documentation, specifications establishing quality standards for new and existing products. Where standards do not exist, develop and document the relevant quality standards, communicating with local quality controller to prepare the standard and educate key third party logistics partners on the standards.

 

  1. Lead in market quality management
  1. Lead quality issue resolution in partnership with key global/regional/local stakeholders, to consolidate QC issues, raise complaint in relevant system, root cause and issue resolution.
  2. Partner with the Global quality team to ensure the development and roll out of consistent quality standards and specifications for the LOC, aligning to the  Global quality standard
  3. Arrange annual return defective volume back to GWR and coordinate the preparation and execution.
  4. Prepare regular quality report to relevant depts
  5. Work on quality standard for local produced products.
  6. Lead the Quality Controller resource, setting clear objectives, directing delivery and managing performance as appropriate.

 

  1. Own in market material management
  1. Collect budget, AOP, LE, calculate package demand, managing inventory and quality, with a primary focus on ecommerce transit packaging.
  2. According to procurement lead-time, make planning for package, ensure package stock at proper level, and not cause shortage to impact sales.

Skills and Experience

  1. Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.
  2. Expert problem-solving and analytical skills.
  3. Excellent teamwork skills.
  4. At least 5 years of work experience related to supply chain or operation, new product development, project
  5. Fluent English, clear and professional written and oral English communication skills.
  6. Proven ability to plan and deliver innovative solutions to support business operations.
  7. Graduate with Bachelor or advanced degree
  8. Strong leadership, minimum 2 years' experience of leading a Quality team.
