Position Summary

The Americas is the largest region for Edrington globally, driven by the USA, which is the largest Edrington market worldwide.  Led by The Macallan, the world’s most desired Single Malt Scotch Whisky and luxury spirit, Edrington Americas boasts a leading portfolio of ultra-premium spirits brands across several categories, while also charged with the focus markets for the company’s strategic partnership brands: Wyoming Whiskey, Noble Oak Whiskey, and No. 3 London Dry Gin. In addition to delivering continued growth for the USA, Edrington Americas has driven exponential growth in Mexico, Latin America, and Canada, and the company is positioned for sustained and long-term success across the region. ​

The Marketing Assistant will support the VP Marketing and the broader Marketing team in the coordination of the Marketing department agenda, planning cycle, marketing capability programme, brand planning workshops, reporting, activities in local markets, provide research/analytical support, and overall administrative support for the Brand teams. 

This person will be energetic, hungry, creative, organized and resourceful. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a start-up environment for an established global organization.

Job Description

  • Coordination of Marketing department agenda and planning cycle
  • Execution of Marketing Capability programme in the Americas
  • Coordination of Marketing department meetings (Growth Planning, QBRs, etc)
  • Consolidation of Brand activity reporting from different teams
  • Invoice processing admin tasks support, including budget management and calendar management
  • Collaborate with creative agencies as well as multiple cross-functional teams including supply chain, sales, finance, and global and divisional marketing to deliver brand projects

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or event management, or relevant experience
  • Experience in an office environment
  • Have a passion for learning, spirits, and innovation
  • Highly organized and reliable
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to multitask as needed
  • Collaborative, positive, and willing to take on any challenge, big or small
  • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally, at all levels of the organization
  • Ideally bilingual in Spanish, although not a requirement.
  • Experience with luxury brands and luxury brand marketing is a plus.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Eligible to work in the US
