To be a recognized leader in executions and interactions with customers by embodying Edrington’s commercial excellence principles and luxury behaviours.The Market Manager manages all aspects of the assigned channel(s) within the territory, working closely with their Edrington counterparts and Broker teams, to deliver short-term results and build long-term brand value.  Key pillars of the position include Implementing Distributor Programming, Brand Building, Pricing Strategy. Success in the position will deliver (or over-deliver) against defined annual goals and continued exceptional growth of the Edrington brands including The Macallan, Highland Park, Glenrothes, Brugal Rum, and No. 3 Gin. The Market Manager will also play a key role, support the Area/Regional Manager and working in close collaboration with the Broker partner to shape the business in their territory in all trade channels (focus on/off).

  • Support Edrington’s ambition to be the most desirable ultra-premium spirits company in the Americas.
  • Deliver territory plans aligned to Edrington’s strategy, with a focus on The Macallan and priority brands.
  • Build strong distributor partnerships, driving brand advocacy, performance and execution.
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Finance and Operations to achieve strategic and commercial objectives.
  • Maximise Edrington and distributor resources to deliver exceptional in-market results.
  • Drive depletion growth while supporting long-term brand building and market development.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities to grow the business and strengthen market presence.
  • Execute local marketing, trade and consumer activation plans to the highest standard.
  • Track performance, report activity through Aforza, and use insights to deliver KPIs.
  • Champion Edrington’s reputation through professional stakeholder engagement and brand stewardship.
  • Support pricing, allocation, compliance and supply chain priorities within the territory.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating Edrington Leadership Standards in all aspects of the role.
  • Manage administration effectively, including expenses, forecasting, budgets, reporting and communications
  • Oversee inventory and point-of-sale (POS) management.

Your Talent and Skills

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience; industry experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in the alcohol beverage, luxury goods, or related sector preferred.
  • Passion for premium spirits, including Scotch, Rum, Bourbon and Gin.
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated, professional and solutions-focused, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong organisational, event management, sales and influencing capabilities.
  • Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using social media and technology in line with company guidelines.
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities and think creatively.
  • Understanding of on- and off-premise sales environments.
  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, Greenbook) advantageous.
  • Flexible to travel and work evenings or weekends when required.
  • Valid driver's licence required.
