The Market Lead is the commercial face of the brand in the market. A recognized leader in execution and interaction with customers by embodying Edrington’s commercial excellence principles and luxury behaviors.The Market Lead is a dedicated, passionate brand champion, embodying the essence of the brand, with the goal to help make the Edrington Portfolio a leader in the ultra-premium sector. The Market Lead will be primarily focused in the On-Premise channel, and will spearhead building brand awareness and relevancy in the market through their trade and consumer engagement. Accountable for market execution of brand education platforms, brand sponsored events, building trade relationships, developing a network of influencers, as well as partnerships with local area luxury lifestyle brands. This position will work together with the local distributor network to drive business volumetrically, as well as increase distribution within each of their target accounts. This position is for a self-starter, someone who is highly driven to succeed, and enjoys going the extra mile to achieve results.

Make an Impact
- Spend the majority of time in the field, managing call cycles and prioritising key accounts aligned to segmentation.
- Act as the commercial lead for the market, owning key account relationships (approx. 90%) and managing distributor partners (approx. 10%).
- Drive distribution, volume, and brand visibility within target On‑Premise accounts.
- Work closely with local commercial teams, distributors, and the Area Manager to develop priority accounts and align to local programs.
- Capture, analyse, and report market activity, insights, and performance using Aforz
- Serve as the in‑market face and owner of the brand for trade, key collectors, and consumers
- Execute trade and consumer activations in line with brand strategy and local market opportunities.
- Develop premium target accounts, recruit new consumers, and build influencer and collector networks.
- Deliver excellence in visibility, distribution, and display within brand guidelines.
- Manage personal T&E budget and effective use of A&P investment.
- Complete required reporting including event recaps, expenses, insights, competitor activity, and POS audits via Aforza.
Your Talent and Skills
Experience with premium/luxury brand building and/or commercial capabilities:
- Passion for ultra-premium spirits (Rum, Scotch, Bourbon, Gin)
- Motivated self-starter, articulate, charismatic, polished, and professional
- Exceptional organizational & event production/management skills
- Adept at networking, selling, and interacting with diverse groups of people
- Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
- Use of social media (Facebook, Instagram) & technology
- Ability to work independently, manage a personal schedule, think creatively
- Role requires evening and weekend coverage – it is a full-time role with non-standard hour
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy products
