Position Summary

As Edrington’s online business continues to accelerate, we are seeking a high potential candidate to join our e-commerce and digital communications team. This newly created role will work across our portfolio of luxury, emerging and challenger brands, and assist the Senior E-commerce Manager with planning, executing, tracking, and reporting on all initiatives relating to alcohol marketplace partnerships. The successful candidate will also support the Brand Director for The Famous Grouse with building and delivering the new brand strategy. This is a rare role with ample opportunity to learn and grow. It is the ideal opportunity for a marketer who would like to continue developing their brand management skills and learn e-commerce, or someone who currently works in e-commerce and aspires to progress into brand management.

Job Description

E-commerce

  • Assisting with annual planning for e-commerce across the portfolio
  • Collaborating with the brand marketing team, agencies and own team creative to brief and deliver asset needs for e-commerce
  • Ensuring marketing program assets are shared with our e-commerce partners on a timely basis
  • Auditing alcohol marketplace sites to ensure Edrington’s products are well presented, and marketing placements are live on a timely basis
  • Coordinating with partners on the product catalogue including content and syndication
  • Partnering with commercial, finance and supply chain teams on inventory management for allocated products

Brand Management

  • Assisting the Brand Director with brand planning, execution and reporting
  • Writing creative and media briefs

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing major preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience working in a marketing or e-commerce role on either the client or agency side
  • Passion for consumer engagement, marketing, and e-commerce, with a professional interest in the liquor industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Can express themselves well in writing and verbally
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to take on multiple projects and asks at the same time
  • A doer with well-developed problem-solving skills
  • A team player with the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times high-pressure environment
  • Self-starter who asks and takes direction when needed and can also be relied upon to work without supervision to get the job done
  • Curious, takes initiative and is keen to learn
  • Understanding of at least a number of these areas: e-commerce, social, CRM, search, website, data and analytics and content
  • Experience using Salsify or another PIM is a plus but not necessary
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Eligible to work in the US
