The HR Manager will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering expertise and guidance to Mexico and LatAm Leadership Team operating as a true generalist supporting the full HR operations for the region and functions in scope, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compliance and best practices. The role is also responsible for implementing core reward processes and strategic initiatives for The Americas in partnership with the Global Reward team ensuring alignment with the business and people strategy, driving business performance and engagement of talent.
The HR Manager will work in close partnership with the Head of HR, The Americas, Mexico and LatAm Leadership Team, HR Centres of Excellence and the rest of the regional HR team to deliver the People Strategy. The role will report directly to the MD, Mexico and LatAm with a dotted line to the Head of HR, The Americas.
Make an Impact
- Provide HR Leadership to the MD Mexico, LatAm team in The Americas to develop a high- performance and engaged Leadership team
- Provide high quality HR business partnering to the MD Mexico and LatAm LT and line managers, delivering exceptional HR initiatives
- Lead the deployment of the annual calendar of people processes / tactical HR activities across stakeholder group including annual PDR review, talent review and salary process
- Be an integral member of the global HR team, participating in global meetings and projects · Consistently operate as a role model of Edrington’s values and leadership standards, acting on feedback to ensure excellence in service provision and continuous improvement of HR processes
- Lead organizational design for areas or markets in scope, organizational announcements, onboarding and offboarding activities.
- In partnership with Talent Acquisition support Mexico, LatAm, recruitment; fostering a strong employer brand, manage relationships with external agencies and ensure a great candidate experience in alignment with global recruitment excellence practices
- Drive and facilitate performance management to support a high performance / high capability culture
- Facilitate talent review and succession planning processes, with a focus on building bench-strength and retaining top talent.
- Partner with the MD Mexico and LatAm leadership team to define specific development plans and learning needs analysis to support delivery of business goals
- Work with functional leaders to ensure development plans are in place and Implement learning & development solutions to support the global capabilities agenda and local needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new reward programs in the region in collaboration with the central reward team
- Provide support to key stakeholders and operate as a trusted and influential advisor to leaders, managers and HR teams on all areas of reward, including activity in relation to the annual reward cycle, salary structure benchmark and key rewards projects
- Advise on and manage the compensation and benefits in line with Edrington global reward approaches and AOP
- Work in partnership with the global team to perform job evaluations process using Hay methodology, conduct salary benchmarks and builds salary structures
- Responsible and accountable for end-to-end payroll process in Mexico.
Your Talent and Skills
- Education degree in Human Resources or related areas
- 8-10 years of experience as a generalist ideally in multinational companies with at least 5 years as a HR Business Partner
- Bilingual: English and Spanish fluency are required
- Functional experience in reward in Mexico; salary benchmarking, job grading, salary structures is required. Experience in rewards for Latam is desirable and for the United States will be a plus
- Ability to think big picture while ensuring detailed implementation of all HR processes
