Embrace Excellence

The Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing treasury functions, overseeing accounts receivable/payable, and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with audits. The role includes tax and transfer pricing oversight, budget preparation, cost forecasting, and cash flow management. The Controller will lead and mentor the finance team, enforce regulatory and corporate compliance, and ensure financial integrity, cost efficiency, and effective planning through budgets, latest estimates, and multi-year financial strategies.

Make an Impact

  • Lead accounting team; ensure accurate, timely closings (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Ensure compliance with MX GAAP, IFRS, and Corporate Standards.
  • Prepare and issue financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) for internal and external use.
  • Continuously assess and improve accounting procedures for data integrity.
  • Identify and develop financial KPIs.
  • Conduct ongoing GL reviews to ensure correct BSR and Trial Balance accuracy. Review COGS monthly to detect deviations and provide insights.
  • Ensure quarterly Representation Letter submission with accurate financial information.Oversee Payroll, PTP, ITC, and Tax areas.
  • Ensure compliance with SAT and tax obligations and completion of annual tax reporting to Corporate. Support monthly tax filings: VAT, ISR, IEPS with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee monthly Cash Flow reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.  Manage cash levels, funding, and loan administration.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and stakeholders to provide insights on Treasury policies, funding, mergers, etc.

Your Talent and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or business administration (Master’s degree in finance/ MBA or CPA preferred )
  • Significant professional experience in Finance roles and leading a finace team/function/similar positions.
  • Strong knowledge in accounting principles and proven experience in financial reporting.
  • Experience and domain using ERPs Systems, SAP preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and organizational skills; ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. High attention to detail.
  • Able to proactively work with multiple departments of the company driving results making things happen.
  • Strong leadership, proven experience leading teams, and team management skills.  Able to work independently while being a team player and agent of change.
  • Due to the gloal nature of our business excellent communication skills in Spanish and English
