This role will lead Mexico and LATAM processing / analyzing data & reporting agenda of the market, bringing key information to different stakeholders of the organization, providing meaningful insights to the leadership team, and contributing to the commercial plans and projects.

 

The Commercial Finance Sr Analyst will ensure that accurate, high quality and timely financial information is available as required to support business decisions. This role provides performance insights explaining the key main drivers against LE, Budget and LY.

 

This role will monitor the P&L performance and will be able to explain the results of the month end close and will lead the consolidation agenda for the region (Mexico + LATAM).

Make an Impact

 

  • Month End Close Performance (Volume): MTD & YTD volume variances analysis and comments consolidation within the Commercial team to understand key drivers and risks vs LE, Budget and LY for Mexico and LATAM
  • Month End Close Performance (P&L): MTD & YTD P&L performance analysis and comments consolidation within the Commercial team to understand key drivers and risks vs LE, Budget and LY for Mexico and LATAM
  • DTC Channel Performance: Build DTC tracking performance report & monthly presentation for Mexico and LATAM analyzing YTD & Month performance with comments and insights aligned with the commercial team
  • Monthly Reporting Consolidation: Build and Consolidate Mexico and LATAM monthly presentation review
  • Lead DMS, PowerBi, AFO and Reporting Platforms: Ensure all data is well uploaded, aligned with all platforms and approved plans (Full P&L Forecast, Live Forecast & Actuals)
  • LATAM A&P Accruals (Monthly)
  • LATAM IM Depletions & Stocks Month Update
  • LATAM Financial Data Market Update for Market Managers
  • Develop customized analysis and reporting tools for short term projects
  • Creates and Seizes Business Opportunities: Making key content and operational contributions to formulation, preparation of negotiations with key clients or for key initiatives of the brands
  • Monitors and ensures the key brands performance supported by analysis, combining market and company insights
  • Be an effective business partner for Commercial providing high level analysis and driving client decisions and growth
  • Support the Financial Planning process with insights by channel, pricing, size and brand family across various geographies/markets
  • Analyze weekly and/or monthly reports to provide insights to management team, such as pricing opportunities in key accounts to monitor brand and main competitors

Your Talent and Skills

 

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business or Finance
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a finance role with heavy use of financial systems and leading Financial Planning and Analysis agenda in the organization
  • Experience using large ERP systems SAP preferred
  • Experience in the Spirits industry preferred
  • Ability to analyze and identify key trends in financial information
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • PowerBi and Planning Analytics as a Plus
  • Able to proactively work with multiple departments of the company and drive results and accomplish goals
  • Strong communication skills with Business Partners & business acumen
  • Able to work independently while being a team player
