Embrace Excellence
The Brand Ambassador (Hybrid) is responsible for driving The Macallan brand knowledge and confidence within the on and off trade in Israel. They have the mission to segment the market and identify where The Macallan is present and activated and identify opportunities to drive brand engagement.
In parallel, the Ambassador’s role is to engage and build strategic partnerships with top influencer groups, consumers and media, by bringing The Macallan “world” to life in their key city. They are required to inspire, educate, and recruit these audiences with unique and impactful experiences.
Furthermore, The Macallan Brand Ambassador supports major brand initiatives, and helps deliver targeted portfolio performance and trade education in priority accounts.
The role will involve extensive event hosting and potential travel within the region of location, and to Scotland to liaise with the global brand and distillery teams and host key influencer visits. It is vital that The Macallan Brand Ambassador embodies the essence of the brand in both appearance, behaviour and delivery of key brand messages.
Make an Impact
- Act as the in-market expert and ambassador for The Macallan, delivering engaging whisky tastings, brand experiences and education sessions.
- Support the planning and execution of premium consumer, trade and media events.
- Represent The Macallan at key industry, consumer and influencer events to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, collectors, media contacts and other key stakeholders.
- Grow The Macallan’s social media presence in line with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Deliver tailored training and education programmes for priority on-trade accounts, retailers and travel retail partners.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, including buyers, beverage directors, store managers and bar staff.
- Collaborate with marketing, commercial and agency partners to deliver impactful brand activations and communications.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand presence, advocacy and visibility across the market through account audits and market insights.
- Manage budgets, CRM activity and stakeholder engagement while contributing to The Macallan’s global ambassador and education network.
Your Talent and Skills
We're looking for a confident and engaging brand advocate who is passionate about creating exceptional experiences and building meaningful relationships. You'll have experience working with luxury brands and discerning consumers, be comfortable presenting to a wide range of audiences, and have a natural ability to influence, network and build credibility with influencers, trade partners and stakeholders. Strong social media, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of your market. A passion for whisky, previous brand ambassador experience, hospitality or luxury spirits expertise would be a distinct advantage. Candidates must be fluent in English, have full driving licence and vehicle and also be eligible to work in Israel.
