Embrace Excellence
Reporting to the Country Insight Manager, The Regional Sales Manager, has responsibility in understanding and giving directions for the volumes, profitability, deployment of commercial (selling cost) and marketing (A&P) spends in India.The role is responsible for managing the day-to-day interaction with the distribution partner in the area assigned to the responsible person and would help build and implement strategic plans which will enable the growth and development of our brand portfolio in the market.
The individual will be responsible for building relationships with key decision makers and key customers, based on a brand driven long term mind-set, while securing operational excellence and the highest level of in-store/outlet execution.
The role holder can be based in Bangalore or Hyderabad.
Make an Impact
- Deliver sales and revenue growth by executing regional plans aligned with broader business objectives.
- Partner closely with distributor leadership and sales teams to drive performance across On-Trade and Off-Trade channels.
- Develop and implement city-level strategies to increase distribution, visibility, and sales growth.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to strengthen brand presence and market impact.
- Drive best-in-class execution across priority accounts, ensuring premium brand positioning at every touchpoint.
- Collaborate with distributors on pricing, commercial plans, and growth initiatives to maximise competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and lead regular business reviews to identify opportunities and drive results.
- Use market, consumer, and competitor insights to inform strategy and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Lead and support training initiatives to enhance distributor capability, brand knowledge, and execution standards.
- Champion a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage forecasting, reporting, and business planning processes, providing accurate and actionable commercial insights.
- Identify emerging trends and market opportunities to drive sustainable growth, market share, and long-term brand success.
Your Talent and Skills
We're looking for a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager with strong experience in the liquor industry and an established network of industry contacts. You'll have a proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing key customer relationships, ideally within FMCG, luxury, or other premium categories. A confident relationship builder, you'll combine excellent influencing and negotiation skills with strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn insights into effective business plans. Passionate about brands and premium execution, you'll be a proactive self-starter who works collaboratively across functions and leads by example. Fluency in English is essential, and previous people management experience would be an advantage, particularly if you've successfully motivated and developed high-performing teams.
