An exciting opportunity has arisen to join India team in Hyderabad/Bengaluru to support one of our biggest global game changer markets. Our fast growing team in India comprises of commercial, marketing, finance and education. The Key account manager – South role will play a key role ensuring our availability and top of mind recall for our portfolio in the selected Key Accounts of Southern India. The role is responsible for building and implementing strategic plans for the region which will enable the growth and development of our brand portfolio in right accounts. The ideal candidate is expected to interface with both local, internal and external parties (including distributor and sub distributor relationships) as well as key regional stakeholders across the MEAI region including finance, commercial, marketing and supply chain.  

Make an Impact

  • Be the primary point of contact for designated key accounts, understand client needs, preferences, and business goals
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers and influencers, regularly engage with clients to assess satisfaction levels and address any concerns
  • Act as a bridge between our company and local businesses, fostering The development and execution of effective strategies to entail  target achievements
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Act as the point of contact to the wider teams and Distributor to facilitate  plans’ execution, revenue objectives
  • Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed, stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential areas for expansion, leverage insights entailing  the tailoring of offerings and strategies for each account
  • Facilitating collaboration with clients to plan promotional activities, facilitating optimization of product placement and visibility within the on-trade channel
  • Act as a bridge between wider Edrington teams and Distributor to work within allocated budgets to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor costs related to account management activities, provide input for budget planning and resource allocation
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, agreements, and progress, generate regular reports on account performance and growth

Your Talent and Skills

To be successful in this role you will be a passionate professional with a demonstrable track record of strong understanding of product value chain, relationship management and category management. Previous experience in either alcho-bev or luxury space will be considered an advantage. We are looking for an innovative individual with great commercial skills, positive can-do attitude, impeccable time management skills and flexible approach to duties.  You will be comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
