Embrace Excellence

This role is responsible for brand planning and brand investment budget (BI) for the Finnish market as well as all consumer and channel specific brand activations across the brand portfolio, including partner brands. The role owns the development of local tools for all relevant consumer channels (PR, Digital, Events) and customers as well as the local commercial team.

 

It oversees the new product launch process and management of product changes in all sales channels. Focus is on growing awareness and sales through all three major channels: On-Trade, Retail (Monopoly) and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC). The role must build a strong collaborative environment with other local marketing teams, the on-trade sales team and Nordic brand ambassadors.

Make an Impact

Reporting to Customer Marketing Manager, Nordics, with a matrix reporting line to the Country Manager, Finland, the key responsibilities include:

  • Development and execution of detailed local brand plans for key consumer channels and customers in Finland
  • Development and implementation of brand concepts, communication material and tools for all consumer and customer channels (Consumer festivals, Customer Training, POS, PR, Digital)
  • Ownership of the local BI budget
  • Management of local Brand and Growth/JPP Planning for Edrington and Partner Brands including local KPIs
  • Reporting KPIs, evaluating key activities and driving changes to improve results
  • Driving marketing agenda with the monopoly, acting as an active contributor to presentation/meetings to influence new listings and grow sales
  • Deploying brand investment to develop the DTC channel by cultivating a network of loyal consumers through on-trade relationships, with the goal of driving retail sales
  • Creating local assets for customers, monopoly and DTC
  • Launching new products from inception to availability in all in channels, including timings, registrations, communications and listings
  • Product updates and changes, from inception to availability in all in channels, including timings, registrations, communications and listings
  • Managing the planning and evaluation of Brand Ambassador activations

Your Talent and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience working in customer marketing, brand marketing and consumer and channel activations. You will have a background in developing communication materials for physical visibility, events, and digital platforms. Experience working closely with various customer channels, including on-trade, retail, and consumers is essential.

 

You will be confident aligning global guidelines to local requirements, working closely with customers to understand their needs.  You will have strong project management skills and experience with budget ownership and reporting management. You will operate with a proactive and dynamic approach, using your interpersonal and influencing skills to drive customer engagement and build strong internal relationships through collaboration. You will work well as part of a small team and be comfortable working independently.

 

You will be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP. Due to the global nature of our business, fluency in English is essential and knowledge of Finnish is preferred.
