Embrace Excellence
The focus of the role is to grow the Edrington portfolio within on-trade (bars & restaurants) with special focus on developing the super- & ultra-premium portfolio in influential bars and restaurants, mainly in the capital area. This includes building strong customer relationships and executing thorough customer plans for key customers. As well as, executing leading brand activations in collaboration with Brand Ambassadors and Trade Marketing Manager.
The role will have a secondary focus on developing the direct-to-consumer channel by cultivating a network of loyal consumers through on-trade relationships, with the goal of driving retail sales. Key responsibilities also include supporting the Finnish off-trade strategy by implementing coordinated on-trade launches to align with off-trade.
Make An Impact
Reporting to the Country Manager – Finland, the key responsibilities include:
- Visiting customers to promote our products and create partnerships.
- Enhance Edrington’s presence in luxury and strategic outlets by driving distribution, rotation and brand presence at new and existing customers.
- Build strong customer engagement within fine dining restaurants and premium cocktail bars to grow Edrington super- & ultra-premium portfolio.
- Establish strong customer base by closing new on-trade contracts and managing customer P&L.
- Manage wholesaler relationships with the goal of increase brand awareness and driving sales
- Conduct customer tastings and trainings.
- Implement and execute leading brand activations and campaigns at key customers.
- Act as Customer Relations Management system lead.
- Management of customer orders with the customer service team.
Your Talent & Skills
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience with FMCG sales, with a good understanding of the on-trade channel. Experience with luxury would be an advantage. Hands on sales experience with a proven successful track record is a must. You will have strong negotiation skills, good financial acumen and a business mindset.
You will operate with a proactive and dynamic approach, using your interpersonal and influencing skills to drive customer engagement and build strong internal relationships through collaboration. You will work well as part of a small team and be comfortable working independently. Due to the global nature of our business, you will be Fluent in English and Finnish with high quality communication and presentation skills.
Due to the field based nature of this role, where you will be visiting key accounts and customers, a clean driving licence is required for this role.
