Embrace Excellence
The Senior Brand Manager will be based in New Delhi, this role reports to the Chief Operating Officer Indian Subcontinent, with a matrix reporting line to the Regional Head of Marketing based in Dubai.
The role is responsible for driving excellence in brand execution, strategic direction and commercial performance for Edrington’s portfolio of Ultra Premium brands across the India Sub Continent - including travel retail. The role owns the management of the brand marketing team as well as the strategic planning and delivery of local brand strategies and marketing activations working in close collaboration with the India based leadership team, as well as regional and global marketing teams, and support functions such as finance, supply chain, legal and HR.
It has overall responsibility for the planning and execution of the brand plans, ownership of A&P budgets and also forms part of and contributes to the wider regional marketing community across the MEAI region and the Edrington global brand marketing teams based in Glasgow.
This role also includes direct line management responsibility for the Trade & Advocacy Manager, Customer Marketing Manager (Travel Retail) & Brand Ambassador’s across various locations Pan India.
Make an Impact
- Lead Strategic Growth Plans for the Indian Subcontinent and align priorities with senior stakeholders and global brand teams.
- Own the full Brand Investment budget and ensure all marketing activity meets brand, legal, and compliance standards.
- Deliver and evaluate global brand campaigns and NPD launches tailored for local market needs.
- Manage agency partners to execute high‑quality brand activations.
- Use market insights, brand health data, and commercial trends to guide strategic decision‑making.
- Align brand investment with commercial goals, driving a KPI‑led, ROI‑focused approach.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior stakeholders, commercial finance, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Global Travel Retail and leverage internal platforms to engage teams and champion market activity.
Your Talent and Skills
To be successful in this role, you thrive in a national, multi‑market role, bringing experience in managing diverse brand portfolios and leading teams across India’s North, East, and West regions. You confidently own A&P budgets, work seamlessly with global stakeholders, and ideally bring exposure to luxury goods, travel retail, or the spirits industry, with a genuine interest in whisky being a strong plus.
With a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship‑building skills, and the ability to influence and negotiate, you combine engaging presentation skills with sharp attention to detail and real pride in delivering high‑quality work. You are proactive, self‑motivated, and culturally adaptable, operating effectively with regional and global colleagues.
A relevant degree and extensive experience support your success, along with fluency in English and strong Microsoft Office capability.
