Embrace Excellence
The Regional Brand Manager, Trade - Indian Sub Continent will be based in New Delhi and reports into the Senior Brand Manager, Indian Sub Continent.
The role will be responsible for driving brand excellence, visibility, and commercial performance across on-trade and off-trade channels for a portfolio of luxury alcoholic beverages in India. This role bridges brand strategy and sales execution, ensuring luxury brand standards are translated flawlessly at the point of sale while delivering volume, value, and advocacy. Unlike traditional trade marketing roles, trade advocacy, education and consumer engagement are essential.
This role also includes direct line management responsibility for the Assistant Brand Managers across various locations Pan India therefore, will have regular travel across the region, and occasional international travel.
Make an Impact
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly trade marketing plans aligned with brand and sales strategy.
- Localise global luxury brand guidelines into impactful, market‑relevant trade programs.
- Lead channel strategies across premium on‑trade and off‑trade, including travel retail.
- Design and deliver high‑impact luxury activations, rituals, POS visibility, and experiential events.
- Collaborate with brand ambassadors to elevate consumer, influencer, and trade advocacy with clear KPIs.
- Partner with sales teams to create sell‑in/sell‑out programs and high‑quality trade tools and playbooks.
- Support key customer negotiations with compelling trade stories, activation plans, and ROI analysis.
- Manage premium outlet segmentation, channel investments, and execution standards across priority accounts.
- Own the trade marketing budget, track KPIs, and deliver performance reporting to leadership.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and luxury consumer behaviour to refine trade strategy and activation plans.
Your Talent and Skills
The successful candidate will bring experience from a national role managing multiple markets or brand portfolios, ideally with exposure across India’s key sub‑geographies. They will be confident handling A&P budgets, collaborating with global stakeholders, and navigating cross‑cultural environments. Experience in luxury goods, travel retail, or the spirits industry—along with an interest in the whisky category—would be a strong advantage. They will demonstrate a sharp commercial mindset, excellent relationship‑building abilities, strong presentation and influencing skills, and a keen eye for detail. Highly self‑motivated and proactive, they will thrive on taking initiative and driving outcomes. A relevant degree and extensive relatable experience are desirable, along with strong English communication skills and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office.
