Embrace Excellence

Reporting to the COO India and MEAI Supply Chain Manager, the Demand Planning Manager India is responsible for managing the Edrington India demand planning team and processes for optimising the supply and stock availability, target service levels and levels of forecast accuracy for the region. Key activity includes gathering business input, aligning supply with production and sales timelines, ensuring compliance and documentation standards, analysing forecast accuracy, root-cause analysis and managing the monthly CBP meeting.  Additional responsibilities include 3PL and CHA management and FSSAI liaison.

Make an Impact

  • Act as the key supply chain expert and primary contact for Commercial, Finance, Global/Regional SC teams, and leadership.
  • Lead issue resolution across the supply chain, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, 3PL/CHA partners, and international supply chain teams (Scotland & Dominican Republic).
  • Oversee India’s CBP process: coordinate inputs, prepare presentations, ensure alignment with production, and manage monthly forecast handshake calls.
  • Drive demand planning excellence by managing the Demand Planning team, reviewing allocations, customer reviews, and ensuring accurate reporting (weekly sales, KPI dashboards, Gap-to-Go).
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and timely loading into SAP APO; act as Key User for SAP changes and related projects.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs including forecast accuracy, supply availability, stockholding, ageing, and root-cause analysis for deviations.
  • Manage shipment planning, receipt/dispatch of goods, and ensure accurate dispatch documentation (GRNs, delivery confirmations).
  • Maintain data integrity across SKU master data, Active SKU reports, and demand planning outputs.
  • Support regulatory and market requirements including product registrations, compliant labelling/packaging, and FSSAI liaison.
  • Lead and support NPD processes, staff training/induction, and act as functional backup during Supply Chain Manager or Demand Planner absences.

Your Talent and Skills

We’re looking for someone confident with SAP APO (as a Key User), experienced in SAP Material Management, and comfortable using statistical forecasting models and system alerts. You’ll bring solid experience in supply chain or logistics, ideally in the liquor industry, with strong team‑leadership skills and the ability to partner effectively with 3PL and warehousing providers. Familiarity with customs, compliance and labelling requirements is important, along with strong Excel skills and ideally PowerBI. You’ll need strong influencing abilities, a continuous‑improvement mindset, and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment, communicating confidently in English and Hindi.

We’ve put together some criteria that we think is important for this role, but don’t worry if your experience and expertise isn’t an exact match. If you feel that you can add value to our role and to Edrington more broadly, we would welcome your application and be eager to learn more about you.
