Embrace Excellence

We are seeking an experienced Reward Advisor who will support the Reward Operations Manager in driving and delivering excellence within Payroll and Reward operations in the UK and globally. They will play a key role in the implementation of Reward initiatives and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of various aspects of Edrington’s Reward programmes.The role requires technical know-how, initiative, attention to detail, confidence and flexibility, seeking direction from the Reward Operations Manager as required. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.

Make an Impact

  • Lead day‑to‑day payroll operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and well‑controlled delivery across all cycles, owning key approvals and escalating to the Reward Operations Manager when needed. Strengthen global payroll and Reward practices by contributing to Edrington’s worldwide payroll community and standardisation efforts.

  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships across HR, Finance, Risk and external providers, representing Reward confidently. Oversee UK pensions and benefits, including provider management, renewals, and seamless payroll integration, while leading statutory compliance processes such as P11D, PSA, and audit activity.

  • Support annual Reward cycles by providing insight and structure to salary and bonus reviews. Improve and maintain global procedures to enhance operational excellence, employee experience, and data integrity, ensuring accurate use of HR systems and strong governance.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Reward Assistants, resolving complex queries and supporting their development. Act as a trusted contact for employees and HMRC, offering knowledgeable, compliant advice and maintaining up‑to‑date awareness of relevant legislation and its implications.

Your Talent and Skills

To be successful in this role, you bring experience in Reward at a comparable level, along with strong knowledge of UK employment taxes, employment law, and broader compliance requirements such as SAO. You may also hold a relevant degree and, ideally, a CIPP Technician qualification, though we welcome a range of backgrounds and equivalent experience.You have a solid understanding of Reward practices, policies, and methodologies, along with experience in UK payroll; international experience is an advantage. You demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a high level of organisation, with project management experience beneficial. You are fluent in working with systems and data integrations and approach your work with a solutions‑focused, continuous‑improvement mindset. You manage a complex and varied workload to strict deadlines while maintaining flexibility, exercise good judgement, and know when to inform or escalate. You are comfortable positively challenging when appropriate, open to giving and receiving feedback, and you demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a growth mindset.
