An opportunity has become available for a Business Analyst to join the team based in our Glasgow Head Office on a 16 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst and working closely with the Project Manager, this role is a core member of a strategic route to market project. The Business Analyst will be fundamental to the success of the project focussed on defining future-state processes and requirements with a focus on our ERP system. This is a perfect role for someone who has been in a similar Business Analyst role within a global organisation and can demonstrate experience working across multiple domains and with offshore third parties.

Make an Impact

Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst key responsibilities include;

  • Engage with stakeholders to effectively elicit, document, and manage business requirements through whole project lifecycle.
  • Modelling As-Is and To-Be business processes and identifying opportunities, risks, and impacts.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with business functions to define and document user journeys, processes, and business rules.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and ensure that processes are streamlined.
  • Liaise closely with internal teams and 3rd party system providers to understand their solutions, configuration options and internal process changes required to achieve maximum value.
  • Work closely with the project team throughout system implementation and change, helping to ensure that solutions satisfy requirements.
  • Help to create User Acceptance Test (UAT) Scripts and support the testing process.
  • Support training and communication of system changes.
  • Contribute to the Business Analyst Practice through the creation and sharing of knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices based on project experiences

Your Talent and Skills

To be considered for this role you will be ISEB or BCS certified or (educated to degree level in a relevant subject). You will also have significant Business Analysis experience working in an international and/or complex business. Experience of working in an SAP (or equivalent) environment with the ability to own the end-to-end requirements process is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be required to liaise between the wider business, internal technical teams and third-party developers.
