Embrace Excellence
Our Edrington Middle East and Africa finance team are looking for a Finance Analyst to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for VAT submissions, payroll, responsibility for month end tasks and GL ownership, overhead analysis and liaising with various 3rd parties. Further analytical support and reporting will be required to support the Finance Manager and the business more generally.
Make an Impact
Day to day you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead the monthly VAT return preparation and statutory submissions across our 3 entities, and ensure appropriate administrative record keeping and reconciliation all VAT accounts.
- Lead monthly payroll processing through ADP system; involving reviewing final reporting out of the system. Reconciliation of payroll related control accounts each month and continued interaction with wider Payroll/HR department.
- Preparation and posting of key month end payroll journals.
- Responsible for processing invoices via VIM I a timely manner (including PO and non-PO invoices, assigning correct GL codes and Cost Centre)
- Coordinate and lead the recharge process for EMEA & EAL, review and analyse monthly intercompany balances working with Accounts Payable/Receivable and overseas teams to ensure complete and accurate postings at month end.
- Responsible for ensuring key month end journals are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This will involve specific GL ownership, accounts maintenance (monitoring and clearing of GLs) and supporting the Finance Manager with various tasks.
- Prepare and share the monthly T&E report in a timely manner with the wider business.
- Working with third party stakeholders’ and reviewing their deliverables and SLAs
Your Talent and Skills
You will be part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or possess relevant experience in accounting. Familiarity with SAP is beneficial. Your precision, organization, deadline orientation, teamwork, and independence will drive success in a fast-paced setting. Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills are vital, with fluency in spoken and written English being essential.
