Embrace Excellence

Edrington has a long history of sourcing the highest quality Sherry-seasoned casks from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain for the maturation of its ultra-premium Scotch whisky and rum brands, particularly The Macallan.

The company has a team of 5 people based in Jerez overseeing compliance and quality of the cask-manufacturing and seasoning process and it recently expanded its presence in the area through the acquisition of Vasyma, a family-owned cooperage business in Jerez, and its wholly owned subsidiary Sherry wine-seasoning company, Destiladores y Bodegueros (D&B)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a HR Manager based in Jerez reporting locally to the Director of Cask Operations with matrix reporting to the Head of HR for The Macallan based in the Edrington HQ, Scotland.  The role provides line management and leadership to a HR Advisor based in Jerez and will work collaboratively with members of the Global HR team and HR centres of excellence.

The HR Manager will develop and lead the people agenda across the existing Edrington team in Jerez and the newly acquired entities that is both aligned with the Global Edrington HR strategy and reflective of local needs.
