Embrace Excellence
The Macallan Cask Operations team plays a critical role in delivering exceptional quality casks for our ultra-premium brands by taking control of our Sherry cask supply chain, where we are significantly investing in Coopers Oak, to transform Cask Supply for all brands and business units.
To realise all the benefits of that substantial investment, we are now entering a period of significant transition as we move from a third-party supply model to a fully integrated end-to-end internal supply chain that sources its own high quality American and European Oak, manufactures high quality casks, and seasons those casks with high quality sherry wine from our own vineyards. This will drive both product quality and brand provenance benefits as well as strengthening our cask sustainability credentials.
The Cask Quality Analyst will facilitate the transition process by continuing to undertake quality audits of our 3rd party cask manufacturing and seasoning suppliers while using subject matter expertise to support the development of new ways of working in our owned supply chain which ensure quality at the point of manufacturing.
The role is based in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain and will work with closely with The Macallan Estate Operations and Whisky Mastery teams, and the Liquid Quality teams based in Scotland, as well as the local operations teams across our subsidiaries in Jerez, Galicia, Cantabria and Ohio.
This is a 10 month Fixed Term contract.
