Embrace Excellence
The Brand Specialist is responsible for driving our portfolio’s brand knowledge and confidence within the on and off trade in Baku, Azerbaijan. They have the mission to segment the market and identify where our brands are present and activated and identify opportunities to drive brand engagement.
Make an Impact
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver bespoke education for our brands and build elevated brand confidence within priority trade accounts and local wholesalers, inspiring brand advocacy and ensuring front of mind presence.
- Introduce new releases to all accounts where applicable.
- Work collaboratively to identify opportunities of brand presence in the area and recommend change as required.
- Regular updates to local marketing and commercial teams on our brands performance in the On and Off trades.
- Build relationships and the trust of key decision makers (e.g., beverage directors, buyers, and leading bar staff).
- Create and demonstrate serves and rituals to priority On Trade accounts.
- Work with marketing teams to implement a range of marketing activations and communications that are in line with brand DNA and objectives.
- Collaborate with The Regional Education Manager and actively contribute as part of the global education, marketeer, and commercial network.
- Identify key brand building initiatives for our brands in collaboration with local commercial teams.
- The management and most efficient use of their annual T&E and activation budgets.
- Report on Trade Activity through Salesforce and Share of Recommendation.
- Private Client Relationship Management (PCRM); Targeted private client engagement, progression, conversion
Your Talent and Skills
We’re looking for a polished and commercially savvy professional with a strong background in trade, brand ambassadorship, or commercial roles—ideally within prestige brands. You’ll bring a deep understanding of the luxury market, particularly in distribution and route-to-market strategies, and possess exceptional communication skills with the tact and diplomacy needed to engage external stakeholders. Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian is essential, and Turkish would be a welcome bonus. You’re self-driven, highly organized, and able to prioritize effectively, with the presence and presentation to confidently represent a luxury brand. A strong sense of commercial awareness is key, and experience within an international organization would be a distinct advantage.
