Embrace Excellence
The Supply Chain Manager will support the Senior Supply Chain Manager in overseeing and optimizing the supply chain processes ensuring efficient operations from sourcing packaging materials to last mile delivery. This role involves collaborating with various departments, managing suppliers / vendors relationships contributing to efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain activities.
The role encompasses a phasing approach ensuring individual is well-prepared to take on the complexities of managing full supply chain functions, fostering both practical experience and strategic insight.
Your Talent and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operations, preferably in luxury, food and beverage or spirits industry.
- Analytical and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software O2C, APO, MM.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, detailed oriented with passion to succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
Make an Impact
Phase 1 - Build operational expertise and skills in managing supply chain processes
- Support the management of end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, order fulfillment, and exception management.
- Collaborate with Brand Owners and suppliers to ensure timely order execution and delivery of products that meet quality standards.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels, product phase-in and phase-out, quality, and supply schedules to optimize stock availability and minimize obsolescence.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain strategies aligned with Corporate and Regional objectives and guidelines.
- Review and upload APO forecast inputs to enhance demand visibility for supply planning.
- Prepare CBP meeting presentations and other supply chain reports.
- Act as deputy during the Department Head’s absence to ensure continuity of business operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Monitor 3PL performance, conduct monthly reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead the annual stocktake with 3PL and auditors to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Oversee co-packing processes to ensure specification adherence while maintaining precise consumption records.
- Manage customer complaints by investigating root causes, communicating promptly and clearly with customers, and developing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Process insurance claims according to policy requirements, coordinate with stakeholders, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with teams to address quality issues by conducting assessments, implementing rework, corrective actions, and preventive measures. Provide training for staff and 3PL partners on quality standards and best practices.
Phase 2 - Transition to Leadership Role
- Oversee the entire supply chain function from procurement to delivery, leading strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as process owner to facilitate effective CBP meetings as a key cross-functional platform to unlock demand potential.
- Manage inventory assets (trading bottles, POSM, dry goods) to optimize investment while maintaining agreed in-market service levels.
- Establish and maintain control over supply chain cost budgets.
- Optimize purchasing by considering allocation, supply protocols, and transport efficiencies. Mitigate supply risks to ensure business continuity.
- Drive continuous KPI improvements and conduct supply network reviews to meet evolving business requirements.
- Source, appoint, and manage 3PL providers to meet customer needs with optimal cost efficiency.
- Ensure supply chain operating systems support current and future customer and internal demands effectively.
- As the supply chain lead for EHK, ensure successful implementation of new business management processes.
- Contribute to the Global and APAC SCM teams by providing insights on direction, strategies, and policies.
- Build a high-performance team and enhance engagement through various initiatives and management of individual development plans.
