Embrace Excellence

The role of a Relationship Manager is to assist the PCRM’s with the overall consumer engagement process and recruitment process across the Edrington Single Malt Whisky portfolio, including support in the sales administrative function. Will identify and groom the next level of private clients from CRM and Private Client Database, focusing on nurturing High Potential UHNI clients.  Works with CRM function on database maintenance and brand marketing on event logistics support and coordination on customer service.

Make an Impact

Acquisition & Relationship Building – High Potential clients and recruitment

  • Able to provide product and pricing information by clarifying business partners request and client requests - selecting appropriate information, forwarding information and answering questions from new recruits and high potential client base in market.
  • Aligns with the Marketing calendar and is consistent/cohesive in brand voice and all brand communications from The Edrington portfolio.
  • Actively reviews current data and widens network to source and recruit new private clients.
  • Works within the pricing strategy for the DTC channel and Prestige range set out by the Managing Director and Head of Marketing. 
  • Achieves sales operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews - prepare and complete action plans, implement best in-class customer-service standards, resolve problems, and identify market/competitor trends.
  • Follow-up on supply / allocation and coordination with all other functions to ensure PCRM related activities can be delivered in a world class standard.

CRM Partnership

  • Maintain relationship with Affinity Tier clients via regular communications.
  • Key account owner for The Index Affinity System – ensure regular update and maintenance of engagement and contact data in the Edrington chosen CRM system.
  • Create customer service programs such as regular product mailer and phone system communications / birthday & holiday greetings / local partnership with financial and luxury brands.

Sales & Sales Administration

  • Build a black book of personal contacts and promote them through the High potential and Private Client status.
  • Work closely with new product pipeline and upcoming releases to help facilitate sales from current consumer database.
  • Create new customer account master application.
  • Support order process and delivery information confirmation.
  • Work with compliance systems to make sure we have data systems aligned and updated on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for delivering personal commercial, recruitment and engagement targets.

Event Logistics Support

  • Coordinates and aligns with Marketing team on activation and engagement.
  • Works with Events Planning & Execution Executive to ensure events logistics, coordination and excellence in customer service.
  • Uses branded assets (e.g. glassware / serve ritual tools / brand visibility display) application, control and coordination.
  • Collaboration with Regional and Market PCRM, Regional and Market Brand teams to deliver a cohesive and coordinated event launch program.
  • Being able to host small scale events from conception to finality, planning to reporting.
  • Work closely with local Advocacy teams to help build tasting and partnership events.
  • Work closely with parter retail to help facilitate events and cross channel sales if needed in market.

Your Talent and Skills

  • At least 4 years of working experience preferably in beverages, hospitality or luxury marketing / retail
  • Proven track record in recruiting and engaging with High Net Worth Individuals.
  • An appreciation of the ‘finer things in life’ and understanding the world of our private clients.
  • Personable; strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, dynamic and proactive.
  • Local language skills both written and spoken in market.
