The role of Private Client Relationship Manager is to manage the acquisition, engagement, relationship building, growing lifetime consumer value with our highly respected and privileged clients. The key responsibilities of this role involve building an impactful HNWI portfolio selling rarest expressions of The Macallan and amplifying the brand message through high touch and face to face engagements with private clients to provide them with an experiential journey with the brand and our prestigious products.

Illustrative Dimensions

  • Operate as part of the local Private Client Team and deliver brand building relationships with private clients that deliver against monthly and annual revenue targets
  • In collaboration with PCRM Lead, deliver on the HNWI recruitment strategy and create opportunities to network and build rapport with potential clients for recruitment
  • Lead, organise and execute recruitment events (corporate, partner and consumer) together with the PCRM Lead and Marketing teams
  • Responsible for retaining, communicating and engaging with HNWI portfolio in an organized and respectful manner 
  • Manage the full range of brand assets to enhance each private client's brand experience - through communication, prestige product management, access to brand experts, selected experiential opportunities and through the development of customised and personalised innovations
  • Develop and leverage luxury brand partnership across categories to reach target consumer
  • Propose and plan together with the PCRM Lead, all direct private consumer programmes, dinners, product launches and events that deliver against overall strategy and KPIs
  • Meet the assigned targets for engagement, response rate and consumer recommendation & advocacy; as well as capture pf behavioural data and individual intelligence, under the restrictions of global and local consumer data protection legislation
  • Provide minimally monthly if not regularly insights, intelligence of customers, purchase of luxury good, trends and performance of PCRM result with reporting in quantity and quality, based on established KPI framework, with additional ad hoc reporting, as required 
  • Ensure link to Affinity Global programmes and security of data base, uploading into HubSpot or globally directed platform and systems as directed by Edrington ensuring compliance with all local and global data protection law

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop owned PCRM HNWI Client portfolio
  • Actively recruit new prestige and high value consumers via networking and events
  • Generate lead, organise and execute HNWI events for recruitment, selling of Ultra-Prestige expressions driving value and profit for PCRM channel
  • Recruit and network with High Potentials
  • A ley user and contributor to the new Consumer Relationship Management platform and ways of working, including a focus on consumer profile management, segmentation and communication
  • Deliver monthly allocations, revenue and targets working closely with PCRM, Finance and Commercial teams
  • Hosting and presenting at Private Client Events
  • Presenting to stakeholders and management on PCRM plans and results.

Your Talent and Skills

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required 

  • 8+ years working experience preferably in a commercial role within spiritis / beverages, hospitality or luxury retail
  • An existing network of HNWI contacts is an advantage 
  • Strong luxury sense and / or experience
  • Appreciation of the 'finer things in life' and understanding the world of our private clients
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor within a high-pressured environment with proactivity in taking up new challenges & out-of-the-box thinking in generating new ideas
  • Highly self-motivated, dynamic and proactive mindset
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Written and spoken Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin) and English is a plus

 

Key Result Areas

  • Meets monthly and annual targets and KPIs (commercial, recruitment, engagement, brand building)
  • Build a recruitment and engagement plan conducting set number of events and product launches per calendar year
  • A key user and contributor to the new Consumer Relationship Management platform and ways of working, including a focus on consumer profile management, segmentation and communication 
  • Build, maintain and grow a portfolio of HNWI clients for long term value and loyalty 
  • Conduct event analysis and generate customer / consumer feedback to identify area for improvement or best practice implementation
