Embrace Excellence

The Assistant Retail and Customer Experience Manager at The Macallan plays a key role in driving brand engagement, increasing footfall, and enhancing customer relationships through the execution of retail activations and customer campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Retail and Customer Experience Mangaerand working closely with boutique teams, you will help implement strategies that elevate the luxury positioning of the brand and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires high creativity, marketing and execution excellence, and team collaboration to ensure seamless execution on ground.

Make an Impact

Retail Marketing (TMH, TMR)

  • Support the Senior Retail and Customer Experience Manager in developing retail marketing strategies with high creativity and execution excellence to sustain The Macallan’s leading Brand Power, driving brand engagement, customer and commercial growth
  • Develop retail activation plans and deliver consumer-centric marketing activations at retail premises (e.g., NPD launches, partnerships, seasonal campaigns, gifting campaigns, etc.), amplifying The Macallan House as the luxury whisky flagship destination. Aim to drive footfall, create high-touch consumer experiences, and recruit new customers for The Macallan House
  • Execute on-ground activations by coordinating with different teams, external agencies, caterers, and partners to ensure proper setup and deliver a high standard of customer experience. Ensure retail merchandising, visibility, POSM, and setups align with brand guidelines
  • Own and manage the development and deployment of Bar Activations, including bar menus, pricing, programs, and activations to support the brand’s serves strategy
  • Own and manage marketing campaigns for The Macallan Room, including sales promotions, tasting experiences, and other initiatives that drive business growth
  • Explore and identify recruitment opportunities and build relationships with potential partners such as  banks, insurance companies, hotels, shopping malls, and luxury brands
  • Collaborate with the Digital & CRM Team to develop digital content and social media initiatives across platforms such as Website, AnyRoad, Instagram, RedNote, OpenRice, WeChat, and TMS recruitmen
  • Prepare activation reports, track A&P spend and ROI, and monitor expenses to ensure marketing programs are cost-effective

 Operation and Administration Excellence

  • Support team operations and administration in stock issuance, logistics arrangements, finance and invoice processing, and marketing administration tasks

Your Talent and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Luxury F&B and Hospitality 
  • Experience in retail marketing, event management and content development
  • Proficient in written and verbal business communication – English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Occasionally work nights and weekends, as required by events
