Edrington Middle East and Africa are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of Regional Assistant Brand Manager - West Africa. This role will report to our Regional Senior Marketing Manager, and provide full marketing support and co-ordination across West Africa, with particular focus on Ghana, Ivory Coast and Cameroon. Based in Accra, you will work closely with our team in Nigeria as well as a variety of regionally dedicated support functions based in Dubai and Cyprus. 

Working closely with the Regional Area Manager, you will maintain activity grids and budgets that support driving the Marketing and Commercial agendas as one, as well as liaising with Commercial & Marketing teams across the full MEAI region. 

Make an Impact

  • Responsibility for planning, leading & co-ordinating Regional Monthly Meetings which includes presentation development and delivery, as well as hosting and ensuring engagement from regional  marketing and commercial teams
  • Involvement in the regional growth planning process ensuring growth plans are built for all key markets in line with global brand owner identified priorities and focus
  • Manage the communication with global marketing teams and agencies (including Media transcreation requests), ensuring relevant information is cascaded as well as requests from all markets followed up
  • Providing New Product Development (NPD) updates for Monthly Collaborative Business Planning  meetings
  • Leading and co-ordinating West Africa’s contribution to the monthly Commercial & Marketing meeting
  • Providing relevant updates to support the region across areas including Global Brand Marketing initiatives, NPD calendars, POS development and A&P management
  • Keeping track of industry updates and sharing with wider team on a regular basis (during monthly meeting)

Your Talent and Skills

The ability to multitask and co-ordinate across a diverse region and selection of stakeholders is essential while managing multiple projects and workstreams to drive the regional marketing agenda forward.  Ideally, you will have a degree in marketing or similar, or experience commensurate to this level of role, as well as experience in the spirits or luxury good industry would be advantageous. With exceptional presentation skills and a high attention to detail, you will be a strategic thinker and possess great interpersonal skills.  Results driven with a successful marketing track record, you will have the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment, as well as excellent planning, organisational and reporting skills.
