The Macallan is our leading brand, supported by Highland Park and The Glenrothes in the fast-growing single malt category and Naked Malt in the blended malt category. Our portfolio is completed with Brugal premium rum from the Dominican Republic, The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky, and Wyoming Whiskey in the American Whiskey category. Edrington also has a strategic partnership with No.3 London Dry Gin.

Our Blend of Benefits

• Salary £15.23 per hour, £29,698.50 per annum

An exciting opportunity have arisen within The Macallan Estate. As a The Macallan Host you will ensure that all guests are given a world class luxury experience of The Macallan with exceptional customer service that exceeds all expectations of our guests, to inspire lifelong enthusiastic brand advocacy of The Macallan. You will host and support highly engaging, entertaining and educational experiences that communicate The Macallan brand to all guests. You will offer a world class service, creating the ultimate customer experience; an experience to be enjoyed by anyone who visits The Macallan Estate.  Working 5 days from 7, Monday to Sunday.

Make an Impact

• To welcome all guests with a passionate and exceptional customer service and inspire all guests to become enthusiastic ambassadors of The Macallan
• Passionately communicate The Macallan brand DNA and values to guests across the Macallan Estate and be the ultimate ambassador for The Macallan, whisky, Speyside and Scotland
• Ensure that The Macallan Estate is presented as a world class 5-star luxury destination, maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and organisation in both onstage and backstage areas with meticulous attention to detail
• Help guests with any accessibility needs across The Macallan Estate, which could include driving our mobility transport
• Develop a thorough knowledge of The Macallan brand and world class customer service within a luxury destination through training and ongoing personal learning
• Host and support highly engaging, entertaining and educational experiences at The Macallan Distillery and across The Macallan Estate; including but not limited to Distillery, Estate, Boutique and Tasting Experiences
• Frequent use of booking and till systems on computers and other devices across The Macallan Estate
• Maximise every opportunity to exceed guest expectations
• To retain up to date stock knowledge with regards to pricing, product origination, product function and story
• Stock control & rotation will follow best practice and company guidelines

Your Talent and Skills

• A strong, charismatic, positive and upbeat people person
• Outstanding customer service knowledge and delivery
• Extremely strong performance and storytelling skills
• Ability to learn and retain information about The Macallan brand and the brand heritage
• Additional fluent language skills (oral) would be a distinct advantage
• Will have strong sales / retail experience
• Confident, smart and takes immense pride in their appearance
• Attention to detail
• Flexible, ‘can do’ approach and a willingness to execute tasks perfectly
